解析新SAT数学部分真题还原与难度

　　SAT2在考取美国高中时不是必须的，有些好的大学也不要求，但是如果不考SAT2高中毕业想申请好的大学时就会受到很大限制。

　　首先，要搞清楚所要申请学校的要求。并非所有的美国大学都要求有SAT2成绩，相当一部分普通大学和少量名校都不需要(NOT REQUIRED)考SAT2。如果你申请的学校都是不需要SAT2成绩的，而你备考TOEFL、SAT1的时间又很紧张，那么就没有必要去考SAT2。但大部分的美国名校是需要有SAT2成绩的，一般是需要两门或三门。在需要SAT2成绩的学校中，对具体科目的要求又不尽相同，有的学校没有规定科目，有的则给出了相当程度的指定，如加州理工学院(CALTECH)就要求所有申请者必须提供SAT2的数学2和科学类中的一门(即物理或化学或生物)成绩。

　　新SAT数学部分整体难度：新SAT数学部分真考的形式和OG完全一致，内容和难度上也与OG保持着高度的统一。

　　考察知识范围方面， 新SAT OG在统计学环节大大加强，新加入了标准差， 抽样实验思想等考察内容， 并提高了对数据分析和回归关系的考察难度。

　　题型和阅读表达方面，真考和OG同样体现出了题干变长和应用题比例升高的趋势。但对于准备过SAT阅读程度的考生而言， 阅读速度和理解并不会成为太大的障碍。相比Princeton等参考书的模拟题，真考的阅读难度并不足以为惧。

　　(1) Given the relation of the distance and the time, find the average speed.

　　3. Linear function

　　(1) Interpret the slope and intercepts.

　　(2)Solve the linear equation

　　4. Rational function

　　Change the the rational function into the mixed fraction by using the long division.

　　5. Mixture

　　Two bottles of solution with different concentration are mixed. Given the concentration of two bottles of solution, the concentration of the mixed solution, and the volume of one kind of solution, find the volume of the other kind of solution.

　　6. Statistics

　　(1) There are two rows of numbers but one is missing. Given the mean of them, find the missing value.

　　(2)Given the percentage of students, teachers and parents in a school and the number of administrators, find the difference of teachers and parents. (Find the total number and then times the difference of percentage)
